KEY SKILLS

Project management

I’m currently responsible for progressing web projects from inception to delivery. I have experience of gathering disparate requirements, creating project briefs, planning, resource & budget management, QA and development. I am experienced at maintaining client relationships through not only managing but exceeding expectations. I have costed, designed and developed innovative widget, Twitter and analytics products within iCrossing. I have also assisted with the creation of successful pitch documents and presentations for these projects.

Social media

As a participant in, and contributor to, a wide range of social media websites, I’ve developed a breadth of knowledge of online communities, social media technologies and web 2.0. I am adept at using social media as a research tool to understand a brand’s online reputation and am able to translate this information into innovative and workable marketing strategies.

Digital marketing

I have experience of implementing successful SEO campaigns that include strategic and tactical activities including keyword research, on-page optimization, competitor analysis and link building. I’m adept at PPC with skills in bid management, ad copy creation, demographic targeting and quality score optimisation. I’ve managed affiliate campaigns and worked with publishers to ensure that consistent and accurate tracking is installed and maintained.

User centric design

I have the ability to research, design and implement web applications and websites that meet the needs of users and achieve defined business objectives. I’m confident at persona development and can identify user needs through the use of both qualitative and quantitative methods (including one on one user testing, click tracking and heat maps, as well as A/B and multivariate testing). Based on this information I am able to create sitemaps and wireframes that meet both user and business objectives. I’ve created design briefs and provided creative direction and support to designers to ensure a high standard of project delivery.

Web Analytics

I’m proficient in setting up and using web analytics packages including Google Analytics, Omniture and Coremetrics. I have an ability to understand business objectives for clients through stakeholder and competitor research which results in the setting of measurable goals balanced against key performance indicators. My experience in advanced web analytics techniques such as customer segmentation, engagement modelling and single and multi channel attribution is extensive.

Delivered successful web development, analytics and social media projects including MORE TH&oneidea;N (redevelopment of Living), Turner (social media framework), Halifax (Halifax home matters), World Vision (stakeholder research & analytics) and web applications for Barclays, Halifax, Kiddicare and Lands’ end.

Social media analyst, iCrossing
September 2007 – May 2008
Analyst working and developing engagement metrics for Channel 4 to assess effectiveness of a web based game; this research gained online attention from various sources, including Forester.  I conducted brand monitoring for a leading US bank in order to measure effectiveness of online activities and marketing campaigns.

Natural search analyst, iCrossing
March 2007 – September 2007
Made SEO recommendations to improve rankings for clients including BT and Brussels Airlines. I worked as an analyst on a bespoke research project for eBay, to identify the effectiveness of their information architecture for SEO.

Test Analyst – Sigmer Technologies
September 2006 – March 2007
Responsible for Quality Assurance at a medium sized web development company. I tested a range of web products to ensure client specifications and functionality requirements were met.  I communicated with developers and clients to resolve issues, as well as producing customer facing reports concerning the accessibility, usability and integrity of client websites.
